Your Success Partner

Your Success Partner

For more than twenty-five years, high performers from all walks of life have sought-out Dave Carpenter as a mentor. The combination of his exceptional life wisdom and his compassion for the challenges being faced by others has led talented individuals to seek his help. Now, by leveraging webcentric learning and communication, Dave is pleased to be able to mentor even more high performers. And to do so in a way that is designed to help program participants dramatically increase their charitable giving.

You can read about Dave’s phenomenal career success at his personal web site, DaveCarpenter.com. But, for Dave, the essence of our being isn’t any single dimension of our life. He is a passionate speaker and writer about his belief that sustainable personal high performance necessitates getting all the dimensions of our life working well and congruently.

Dave Carpenter will be the first to tell you that he doesn’t have life mastered. (Does anyone?) He shares openly with friends and mentees that he too hits his shares of potholes on the road of life. But, he prides himself on learning from his miscues, righting himself, and then motoring on. He sees himself as on a journey of mastery of Living in The Zone, which he defines as the intersection of passionate purpose, abundant energy and blissful peace. He is a lifelong student on each of these three areas, and has regularly accessed the wisdom of leaders in these three fields.

Dave’s lifelong passion for learning is evident in the breadth of his learning activities. He has both a Masters in Business Administration (Temple University) and a Juris Doctor (Rutgers University). He is a six time graduate of the very challenging Outward Bound wilderness experiences. And, he is a frequent participant in life learning programs by leading experts. For example, he recently completed work with the fabulous Cheryl Richardson in a year-long program to master the Art of Extreme Self Care.

Dave attributes his greatest learning to his extensive experience with mentoring. Whereas so many see the mentee as learning from the mentor, Dave sees mentoring as a two-way process of learning and supporting… hence his preference for seeing his relationship with program participants as “success partners.”

Dave lives with his wife Nancy in the beautiful Berkshires (MA) on a former horse farm, which devours his time away from work. He and his wife (of 38 years) are also the caregivers for a special needs adult who is the apple of their eyes and the subject of Dave’s keynote speeches for charities: The Wisdom of Scotty, 12 Powerful Life Lessons Taught by an Amazing Spirit.
